Dear college best friend,
You are unlike any other friend I have ever had. I met you in a room full of nasty, sweaty people that had drunk a few too many and it was a way past my normal sleeping hours. I was in a rare form that night because in high school I would never just walked up to someone and called them my spirit animal and if I ever did I would have never expected them to take me under their wing that night and introduce me to a bunch of girls I would never have imagined myself hanging out with.
Thank you for making my first college memory a great one and thank you for making my first semester of college one I will never forget! You have supported me from the first night I met you, the times I thought I could not pass a test or every Thursday night I did not know if I could make it from Phi Psi to some Delta Sig party, you were there.
Thank you for introducing me to your other half that slowly became one of the people I claim as one of the greatest friends I have ever had. Thank you for letting me in on all of the details of your relationship and for all the times you allowed me to third wheel every date night ever. You two gave me hope in times I most needed it.
From the countless nights that turned into mornings we may or may not remember, from the frat boys we have had to swear off, from the tears we have cried to each other, the shacker nights in your dorm, the doctor visits, and the game days we have shared with each other. I could not ask for someone better to be my best friend in these crazy times of my life; you are truly someone I could not imagine my life without so far.
No matter how far we travel and no matter how different we are you will always share some of my most precious times of my first semester with me and for that I am so thankful.
