An Open Letter To My Boyfriend's Family

I can remember the day I met y'all like it was yesterday. I was on my way to the cabin and I kept telling myself to turn around because who knew if y'all would like me. I had different conversations with myself trying to get ready for all the questions y'all would ask me. I had to make the best impression so that y'all wouldn't tell Sam I wasn't good enough for him. However, it was nothing like I thought it would be. After I finally arrived to the cabin after my adventure of getting lost y'all welcomed me with open arms and I have felt at home ever since. So I just wanted to say a couple things to y'all.

Thank you for making him the guy he is today

I thank the Lord every day that he gave me a guy as good as Sam. There aren't many guys now days as well mannered and that treat girls the way he does. I can't thank y'all enough for raising him into the great young man and boyfriend he is today. He was raised to be respectful, patient and to love unconditionally and I can truly tell that by the way he treats me daily.

Thank you for allowing me to tag along

No matter if it is family dinners, trips to the cabin or days spent shopping. Y'all always allow me to be apart of what ever you're doing and I truly thank y'all for that. I enjoy the days we spend at festivals and nights we spend around a nice warm bonfire. As well as days spent at the pumpkin patch with my favorite dog oh and of course Hannah too.

Thank you for accepting me as part of the family

Every time I step foot into your house I know that I'm going to be greeted with open arms and a night full of good memories and laughing. I can't name a time that I haven't felt at home and I can't thank y'all enough for making me so welcomed from the first day I met y'all until now.

Thank you for accepting me for who I am

Thank y'all for accepting me for who I am!! I have never heard y'all say a bad word about me or say y'all wished I looked a different way or wish I was like another girl. And I truly thank y'all for that more then you'll ever know. From the grandparents to the aunts I have never felt so welcomed and accept and y'all are the best!

Thank you for allowing me to date him

Thank y'all for sharing him with me and allowing me to date your very talented, awesome, smart, funny and handsome son, brother, nephew and grandson. Y'all have all been supportive of our relationship and I thank y'all for that.

I am truly blessed to have each and every one of y'all in my life. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to call my second family!

Oh, and thank y'all for having the cutest dogs around!!

Love Mo!!

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
