I miss you a lot, and I know you know it. Considering the fact that we always send each other the ugliest snapchats, the funniest texts and links to hilarious vines. It's weird because I have lived so close to you for my whole life, yet here we are as far apart as ever. I haven't seen you in months.
But wow are you still weird, and you haven't changed a bit. I can tell you the most random of things, and your response is still very much appreciated. I miss the car rides we have together while blaring Paramore and drinking RaceTrac slushies (we probably drank four of those a day during the summer). I miss binge watching “Harry Potter” with you, and spending New Year’s watching movies and eating everything in sight. I miss being on the field with you, and being able to lead a team by each other's side.
But now we're in college, and life is a lot different. I have made new friends that I know I will have forever, and I have made many great memories with them as well. Now before you get jealous and think you've been replaced I want to tell you the exact reason why this letter is to you.
You haven't been replaced, you are irreplaceable.
Our friendship didn't just happen so it could be ended when we went to college (I know that for a fact). Our friendship happened because I learned what true friendship was when I met you. I never had a best friend before you, and I remember telling you that in my basement while we were probably watching Harry Potter for the 100th time. You have been there when I got my first boyfriend, you were there when I needed to vent about a lot of unimportant things, and I know you'll always be there.
So even though we are many, many miles apart. You are still my best friend. And it has truly been an irreplaceable adventure to walk through so many years of life with you.
