Welcome to Ohio, where the first day of Autumn has come and gone, and it's still 80 degrees outside. When will we win this battle for cooler weather? No really, Mother Nature, what's going on? Please, pause your Zumba class video and help us out! It is time for us to take back what is rightfully ours! Comfy sweaters, combat boots, beanies, pumpkin spice and hot apple cider, flannels and jeans, the crunch of leaves under your feet, FOOTBALL!

With the weather outside still thinking it's mid-July in the fire kingdom, I figured I would share some of my favorite fall photos that I took last year with you. May these help you get in the cozy fall mood and may it summon the fall spirits to change our weather.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
