This past weekend, the Beta Xi chapter of Delta Gamma celebrated Delta Gamma's Founders day. While there, I realized what it truly meant to be a DG, so I wanted to give a quick shout out to our founders.
Mary, Eva, and Anna: Thank you for bringing Delta Gamma to me. Having many family members being DG alums, I knew a lot about the sorority before going into it. But now that I am a initiated member, I have learned so much; some lessons being lifelong ones. I have learned what it means to "do good". I have learned how to handle many different types of people and personalities. Along with that, I have learned how to love and appreciate different types of people and personalities. I have learned how to not only be a better member of my sorority, but of my school and community as well. I have met so many amazing people and forever friends that never fail to put a smile on my face and will always pick me up when I'm down. During my first semester in this sorority, I know I have changed. I've become a better, happier, more comfortable, more social, more outgoing version of myself, all because of Delta Gamma. Mary, Eva, and Anna: thank you for making me a better person.
