"Some people go to priests. Others to poetry. I to my friends." -Virginia Woolfe
An open letter to my college best friend,
It is so strange to think that it was just a year ago that we became a part of each other’s lives. I had no idea that we would become as close as we are now, but I am so grateful that God brought us together in Mrs. Irina’s class. I know that my freshman year wouldn’t have been the same without you.
Thank you for letting me complain about the silliest things without judgment, eating sour strings and ice cream (even when were supposed to be on a diet) and making me laugh when it felt like things were falling apart.
Thank you for always being up for shopping and banana cupcakes at Sprinkle’s.
Thank you for always believing in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself.
I know that as time passes we won’t always be able to stay up talking until 1 a.m. or watch High School Musical in your dorm room, but I do know that nothing will ever tear apart our friendship.
Thank you for being my person and my college best friend.
Love,
Your Forever Friend
