Dear Everyone,
For starters, I really do mean everyone. I'm not going to single out any specific people to tribute this letter to because it's really meant for everyone wonderful I have encountered in my life. Whether I'm your child, your sibling, your friend, your former student, your relative, this is for all of you. I can really not thank you enough for everything you have done for me.
It's amazing, really, how there over 7 billion people on this planet. Somehow, I was lucky enough to have crossed paths with you and end up in your life. It's crazy how life puts these people in front of you without any warning and you wonder how you ever survived without them. Somehow you can just be blessed with the most incredible family, which is something most take for granted. Be thankful for your family. Not everyone has that commodity.
First of all, thank you for constantly inspiring me. I am consitantly being inspired by the humans around me. Every interaction we have had has lead us to this exact moment, and I truly believe that I have grown to become a better person soley because of the connections, some substantial and some delicate, with other humans. I have learned so much from you all, not just about yourselves, but myself, too. I hope I have inspired you, also. Whether our interactions were big or small, I'm glad that they happened.
Next, thank you for constantly being there for me. The countless examples of selflessness, love, and compassion from the people around me truly makes me happy. It gives me hope for the world. With each new generation, it seems like we continue to make the others in our lives a priority, which is absolutely beautiful. In return, I will always be there for you too. Even if we haven't spoken in ages, I am most likely cheering you on through every single accomplishment and wish nothing but the best for you. I am always just a call or a text away, remember that.
Of course, thank you for putting up with me. I know that sometimes I can act a little crazy or maybe I talk a little too much, but I know you still love me just the same. Same goes back to you, whoever you are and however you are -- I wouldn't want it any differently, I love you for you. Your uniqueness and individuality is something you should be proud of (a lesson, again, someone in my life taught me), not afraid of. Don't hide yourself, be yourself.
One of the most important lessons I have learned in this life is how hard it is to say goodbye. But is it really ever goodbye? I know that I always hope that one day, whether it is in this life or in paradise, that we will meet again. When someone you love leaves, celebrate the life that they lived, and that you got to enjoy some of it with them. From tragedy, rememberance of loves grows.
So thank you all for showing me how wonderful the human experience called life is. We're only here once, so we might as well give it our all, and take in these precious moments one day at a time. It's crazy, wonderful, and ever-changing. But you have made mine one to remember. Memories I'll never forget, but so many more to make. I know that one day, I will look back on the moments that helped form me into who I am, and only remember you, the amazing people in my life. I can't wait to continue this journey with you all.
