Spring semester has a bit of a reputation. Fall semester is broken into nice little chunks - about a month in you get parent's weekend, a month later you have fall break, Thanksgiving the next month, finals, and then you go home for winter.
Spring gets spring break and Easter. That's all.
You also run into when it's actually becoming spring. When the snow finally starts to melt and temperatures begin to rise from arctic tundra to humanly bearable, no one wants to be in a classroom.
The promise of an entire summer off looms over your head, your dorm room could probably use a clean, and you're starting to get really sick of the dining hall food.
Power through.
Spring semester also holds some of the most fun events and experiences throughout campus. All of the Greek organizations will be welcoming in new classes, while everything else gets new life breathed into it as the warm weather comes.
Take some time to yourself.
Spring isn't broken into nice chunks like the fall, and it's harder to remember that your personal well being is just as, if not even more important than your grades and social involvement. Take some time to appreciate everything going on around you and breath.
Know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Summer is almost there, and with it comes adventure and a new time to reflect. You can get through anything for a semester, and you've got this one in the bag.
