Here's to you, Mom.

And all of the reasons why I love you.

I can always talk to you about anything.

When I have a problem or are stressed out,

you are the one I go to.

And I can call you whenever.

It doesn't matter whether it is 6am or 10pm.

I know you are there to listen to what I have to say.

And those cute texts and quotes you send me make my day.

I know that I don't always take your advice,

Or do what you tell me.

I feel so lucky to have a parent like you,

and to know that you and dad are always there for me.

You two are my biggest fans.

Thank you for all of the lessons you taught me,

Like how to be kind and caring.

To always try hard and do my best.

I hope that I make you proud.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
