Austin's beauty can't be questioned. This city is truly a gem, and many people don't get to appreciate this because it is one of the most underrated spots in the South. When people think of Texas, the last thing that will come to mind is music, nature, food and culture. Ironically, this is what characterizes Texas's capital. There is a reason why it is called the Live Music Capital of the World.

I think one of my favorite things about Austin is how green it is. Not only does it have breathtaking scenery, but it also has residents that are committed to taking care of the environment. The plastic bag ban is one of the greatest things Austin has accomplished.

In my opinion, biking to Zilker Park and trying different kinds of food at local food trucks is one the best afternoon plans. The music scene is also very important in Austin. Every Wednesday, the band The Spazmatics performs '80s music at Cedar Street Courtyard. So far, it is my favorite music spot.

I don't think words can express how beautiful Austin is, but I think these pictures will.
