Being someone who likes science and math while liking art at the same time can feel duel natured. But science and art go together actually. Using one half of your brain for science/ math and the other side for art helps you to fully use your brain. To those who say they hate art or to those who say they hate science and math for the little reason of not being good at one or the other, well I insist that you reconsider. People usually think they don't like something when they really do but they don't even realize that they do. I think that everyone has an aptitude for both science and art since we all have two sides to our brains. And everything can be categorized into science/math and art, at least at this point in time I think everything can be categorized into these groups.
I think art is the root of science/math though. Art includes creativity. And science and math had to be created with creativity. So my ode goes out to art. I love every form of art. The art of writing obviously, where you can think freely, and bring some importance to your thoughts by writing them down. Then there is reading, reading others thoughts that they knitted and weaved together to form a story to cater to readers. Then there is film which accessibly flickers into our eyes the typical scenario's in all of our lives but with added affects and exaggerated personality. Then there is the art of painting where someone splatters paint onto paper to create a thought, a thought made beautiful by being shown. And beautiful by color. Then there is loads of other art form that get thoughts out of heads and lead to the most important discovery's, these discoveries once made reside in the realm of science and math which use and apply the discoveries to real life.
So my point is that if you look at everything as art then everything is beautiful. And everything is art. Sorry to get so philosophical but I couldn't help it apparently.
