Dear Mom,
First off, I want to start by saying that you're the best person I have met; not just because you're my mom but because you're genuinely the nicest and most caring person I've ever been lucky enough to know. I want to say thank you for raising me the way you have and for always being my number one supporter even if you're aggravated with me.
I know that you might not think you're appreciated sometimes, but trust me when I say this: I appreciate you more than you will ever know. I know that I might not always take time to tell you that (which is my fault) but that does not mean I appreciate you any less. This just means that I'm not too sure how to express my thoughts. I don't know how every other kid grew up without having you as a mom, but I'm thankful that you got to be my mom.
I am thankful for our late-night drives, endless laughs because we do stupid things, the inside jokes we have and the bond that we've created. I can honestly say that you're my best friend, and not many people can say that about their mom. You have been there for me in every aspect of my life and always put me before yourself.
I am growing up, and now I want you to put yourself first and go out and enjoy life because you deserve it. I want you to know that I am proud of you and all that you have become. I know that you're hard on yourself at times, but please remember that you mean everything to me and the last thing I want is for you to be hard on yourself. You work so hard for our family, and I can only hope that one day I can find a way to repay you for all of that.
I hope that one day I become as great of a mom to my future kids as you have been to me. Throughout the years you have shown me how to prepare to become the best wife I can possibly be, and I thank you for that. Lastly, I want to thank you for everything you do and for showing me what a woman of Christ looks like.
I love you more than you know,
Reagan
