Recently, American Airlines has shaken social media as released videos have revealed the cruel treatment of some of the passengers on board in two different situations.

David Dao, a 69 year old physician, who was recently dragged off a United Airlines flight, has shaken much of the public about this ridiculous incident. A few weeks later, another passenger of a United Airlines flight, was struggling with her baby stroller with one of the other attendants on board. Now the two victims are teaming up to work together and get justice for the United Airlines fiasco.

According to CNBC, “"I think corporate America needs to understand that we all want to be treated in the same manner with the same respect and the same dignity that they would treat their own family members. If they do that, wouldn't it be great? So, will there be a lawsuit? Yeah, probably," attorney Thomas Demetrio said during a press conference on Thursday.”

Oscar Munoz, United Airlines CEO, reportedly apologized to the passengers of the incident by saying, “I want you to know that we take full responsibility and we will work to make it right."

While the CEO and the company continue to thoroughly research the investigation with lawyers on stand by, another dreadful incident occurred recently this past Friday concerning a woman, her baby, and a stroller.

According to FOX News Travel, “An American Airlines employee allegedly took a stroller from a woman boarding Flight 591 from San Francisco to Dallas Friday, and knocked her with it while she held a baby in her arms. The initial reported confrontation was not in the video, but a passenger on the flight out of San Francisco said the employee “violently took a stroller from a lady with a baby” and hit her, “just missing the child.” The airline announced the worker was removed from duty.”

American Airlines replied with a statement saying, “We have seen the video and have already started an investigation to obtain the facts. What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers. We are deeply sorry for the pain we have caused this passenger and her family and to any other customers affected by the incident. We are making sure all of her family's needs are being met while she is in our care.”

Now the two are teaming up to get justice for the fiasco.

According to Fortune’s Travel section, “Attorney Thomas Demetrio is now working with the woman involved in the incident after she reached out to the lawyer, according to NBC. Demetrio says that his newest client was worried her child would be injured in the confrontation. He also said that he is not working on settlement negotiations and that he feels his client is past the stage of a face-to-face apology making a difference.”

While these recent cases concerning United Airlines are still under investigation the two videos have caused uproar all over the world. More and more people are becoming outraged at how Dao and this poor woman were handled by security and the American Airlines staff.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
