It's pretty safe to say that Amy Schumer is everyone's spirit animal. Her laugh-out-loud persona and delirously hysterical jokes somehow manage to explain every awkward and uncomfortable situation you might ever find yourself in. For every college student, midterms season is definitely one of the most treacherously uncomfortable times of the year. So without further ado, here's the reigning queen of comedy to explain midterms in a nutshell.

1. You tell yourself there's no need to stress because you've made the decision to be proactive about studying this time.

2.But in reality you only end up study for the midterm a couple days beforehand.

3. You open your note book and have absolutely no idea what's going on.

4. You decide instead of studying to watch Netflix because for some unidentifiable reason that just seems smarter.

5. After watching an entire season of House of Cards, you give yourself a great pep talk and dive right in.

6. Over the course of studying you eat anything and everything in your path.

7. But don't feel the least bit guilty about it.

8. Finally you show up to the exam, filled with self-confidence.

9. Then you open the exam and try not to cry on the paper.

10. You see someone out of the corner of your eye who just looks like she is doing better than you are.

11. You walk out of the exam semi confident, knowing everyone else was just as freaked out by the exam as you were.

12. You finally get the exam back and realize there was no reason to worry in the first place.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
