10 Motivations For College

There are so many wonderful things about going back to college after a long break; seeing friends, eating at your favorite spots, and gaining back the freedom that college brings. However, it also means lots of schoolwork. If you are like me, you might need some motivation to keep studying and working. I hope the quotes below inspire you like they have me.

1.

I often find myself comparing myself to others. What I do not think about is that they have been working on it for months and I just started. We all need to remember that you can not compare apples to oranges.

2.

Sometimes you need to do something for you. Take some time for yourself every once and a while.

3.

You do not have to have your future planned out today or tomorrow or even the next day. Take your time and plan.

4.

I think this one speaks for itself. No matter how you feel keep going.

5.

Say yes to new experiences and new opportunities. Do not let yourself get overwhelmed. Remember to have fun.

6.

Do not limit yourself. Your dreams are not too big. Run after them. Do not let anything or anyone stop you.

7.

What more is their to say? Go, do, explore, challenge yourself and learn.

8.

Everyone has their own problems and issues. Remember to smile and be kind. Share happiness with others.

9.

Do not worry about what you do, worry about what you do not do.

10.

One of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite shows. Life happens fast, so live everyday to the fullest.

But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
