Well, if Shelby (Lily Rabe) turning Matt's (Andre Holland) head into hamburger meat like Negan from The Walking Dead didn't shock you, then this week might be just the thing to do it! Last we left our group, Audrey (Sarah Paulson), Monet (Angela Bassett), and Lee (Adina Porter) were at the mercy of the Polks. Matt met his end because he fell in love with the Witch of the Wood. Dominick (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) and Shelby were trying to ride it out in the house of ghosts. The production crew, including Sydney (Cheyenne Jackson), met their end at the hands of Agnes (Kathy Bates), who then met her own fateful end by the hands of the real Butcher (Susan Berger). What will this week bring?

We're taken to the end of the last episode, where Dominick and Shelby are looking down at the settlers who are preparing to enter the house for their blood. Shelby knows that if they can make it to the tunnel that they might have a chance to encounter Edward and find safety. Upon seeing Matt's body, Shelby has a breakdown and Dominick does everything he can to keep her together. But once they open the tunnel, it's not Edward that greets them, but rather the Chen family, crawling their way to them in a Grudge-like fashion. When they get up the stairs and try to close the door, it closes on Dominick's hand.

Cutting back to the Polk farm, Lee has been tied to a chair in a room separate from Audrey & Monet. Lee's pant leg is now cut open, exposing where Mama Polk (Robin Weigert) has been taking parts of her flesh for food. Lee soon finds out, as JetherPolk (Finn Wittrock) comes in to do Mama Polk's dirty work, that their cannibalistic ways began during the depression when hobos killed off the last of the Polk's pigs. As punishment, they slaughtered the hobos and ate them. Since then, it has been the way of the Polks, as has being able to keep the police off their backs as to what goes on within the confines of the farm.

When Mama Polk leaves, Lee pleads with Jether to help her. But Jether, more concerned about being famous and in the public eye, continues to film the experience. Lee promises Jether that if he lets her go, she can make him famous, as there are cameras everywhere. He also tells her the story of the original Piggy Man, who we find out was a Polk. (This refers back to Season One of American Horror Story.) Lee assures Jether that he can be bigger than that.

Dominick & Shelby, after fleeing the basement, head to the kitchen so that Dominick can ice his hand. Shelby feels hopeless, while Dominick tries to do everything to convince Shelby otherwise. Their moment in the kitchen is then interrupted by Piggy Man attacking Dominick. As they are now stuck in the house, Shelby and Dominick manage to get away and try to escape back to the upstairs bedroom. Unfortunately, not without the spirits making their presence well known by bringing down the chandelier. They eventually make it upstairs into the master bathroom. Shelby comes to the realization that she has killed the only man she ever loved, the guilt consuming her so much that she turns the knife she had on herself and slits her own throat. Dominick is powerless to stop her.

Lee begins to realize that there is no hope in getting out unless she can persuade Jether to help her. To get on his good side, Lee agrees to do drugs with him. A few moments later, she uses his love of media to her advantage. Lee has Jether pull the picture she has of Flora out of her pocket and turn the camera to Lee's face, addressing her daughter. We then find out in her confession to Flora that Lee was the one to kill Mason. He was going to take Flora away from her and rather than letting that happen, she took him out instead. Lee tells Flora to rise up from this. As a last resort, knowing that Jether likes her, Lee offers herself to him. When he undoes one of the restraints on her arm, she takes the opportunity to choke Jether and slit his throat.

Meanwhile, Audrey and Monet are trying to reason with Lot Polk (Frederick Koehler), Ishmael Polk (Frank Collison). They know that the Polk family feels they were poorly represented in the documentary, which Audrey and Monet blame Matt & Shelby for as an attempt to reason. Lot then produces pliers, as the Polks always had a fascination with the raining teeth. And in order to appease the Butcher, is ready to take Audrey & Monet's teeth. Lot first goes for Monet's teeth, but in the process, the chair breaks and she escapes. Mama Polk comes in as Lot and Ishmael go out to hunt for Monet. Mama taunts Audrey with what her, and her boys did to Rory. Despite the struggle, Mama manages to get one tooth out. Before she can take another, Lee arrives and hits Mama. Once Audrey is free, she takes out her wrath on Mama Polk and kills her.

Audrey & Lee manage to make it back into the house through the basement, where Lee discovers that Matt is now dead. Audrey tries to pull Lee away, promising her painkillers that Audrey has in the bedroom. They walk through the destruction of the house and make it to the master bedroom. Audrey assists Lee with the meds and then assures her she just needs to run in the bathroom for a minute. It is then that Audrey sees Shelby on the floor and a panicked Dominick. Lee comes into the bathroom and while Dominick explains what happened, both Audrey & Lee believe he murdered Shelby as he has the knife in hand. They lock him out of the bedroom, where Dominick meets his fate at the hands of the Piggy Man.

After surviving the night, Lee decides that she needs to return to the Polk farm and make sure to grab the video evidence. Audrey thinks she is crazy, but complies. They walk through the house, the death and destruction surrounding them in the daylight. Once they get to the front door, they are greeted with the sight of Piggy Man. They begin to attack, but are quickly stopped as the Piggy Man takes his mask off and reveals that it is Dylan (Wes Bentley), the actor who played Ambrose.

With Dylan now in the mix and the blood moon making its appearance, who is the lone survivor? Will Lee get to see her daughter again? Has Monet been captured by the Polks again? Is Audrey destined to move forward in her acting career? Or will Dylan make it through? Join me next week for another episode of American Horror Story!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
