America Has Rejected Rule Of Law

It's been a long time coming—judgment—unless we repent.

America Has Rejected Rule Of Law
wmfs.net

My heart is sick and sad and heavy as I write this article. It is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write, and yet, unfortunately for me, it's the one my conscience most demands I complete.

“Forty days till Nineveh is destroyed!” the prophet cried. “Yet forty days and this city will be overthrown!”

It's day thirty-nine in America.

Please, let we the people heed the prophets of today. Let us put aside our royal robes and riches, repent and fast, and throw ourselves on the mercy of Almighty God. Lord, forgive me my wickedness in contributing to this, and open the eyes of this nation, these people from sea to shining sea, who have founded themselves a Babylon of humanistic, hedonistic opposition to You and Your Law and Your Will.

This article is a wake-up call to Americans. Believers, stop taking refuge in the belief that this is a Christian nation blessed by God; unbelievers, please believe that it is in love that I say that you are doomed unless you pay attention.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America...”

Christians, we have no right nor place to pledge allegiance to any flag but the Cross of Christ. Tacking on “under God” doesn't make it okay, rather compounds what is an affront to His Holiness and His Truth, and seeks to make God complicit in our rebellion.

And this country was built on rebellion. If you actually compare what the Bible teaches to what the Founding Fathers believed—about democracy, religion, freedom, responsibility... it's not a Christian nation at all, rather a humanistic nation which used a veneer of Biblical morality to disguise its fundamental deistic Selfism.

This article is a long time coming, and has been brewing—ruminated over—for a long time, perhaps years now, but is finally enacted by everything that has happened in these past few days, which are only gaudy symptoms of that same old ancient evil. Of course there was the Orlando shooting, Hillary's avoidance of justice, the Stanford rapist's avoidance of justice, yet more police brutality, then the Dallas massacre of police in response to that brutality... And that's just this past few weeks.

This country is on day 39 of Jonah's prophecy. It's on the edge, the brink of collapse or civil war. Every man does what is right in his own eyes. There is no rule of law.

But what did we expect? We argue whether #BlackLivesMatter or #BlueLivesMatter or #AllLivesMatter, and we #StandWithOrlando or whoever or whatever is the latest to have the ability to stand stolen ruthlessly.... But we industrialize the Holocaust of our own unborn citizens for money and ease—the “Right to Choose”—the greatest marketing success in the history of cynical capitalism; we pass our sons and daughters

+ through the fire to Moloch and build our cities on their bones and blood, as we built our colonies on the bones and blood of slaves. The country, the Supreme Court, the “rule of law” has decided, definitively, that #UnbornLivesDontMatter.

The problem is that there never was rule of Law, true Law, God's Law, in the first place. When the heart+ is tuned to darkness, of course men will call evil good and good evil. Of course that veneer of Biblical morality took so little time to melt completely away. Out of the abundance of the mouth the heart speaks.

If we stand on the precipice of a revolution, akin to the Civil War or the Civil Rights Movement, know that that is not what I'm calling for. Because what can it change? What does it change? What did it change? The Civil War abolished the institution of slavery legally, but couldn't stop Jim Crow and his KKK. So came to 60s and MLK and Malcolm X. And they abolished the institution of segregation legally, but they couldn't stop the police brutality and everything we're seeing today. So what will #BlackLivesMatter accomplish? What laws will they fight for and how will those laws save the world if they can't save the hearts of the people?

See, that's the problem. Putting the cart before the horse. We can't save this world from blood unless that blood is atoned for by Christ. Of course slavery was wrong, of course segregation was wrong, and of course Black lives matter... as do Unborn lives and Blue lives and All lives... but the One, the ONLY One, the ONLY Way, who came to take captivity captive and set free the slaves and bring the children to His lap and to ABOLISH death and inequality, making level the mountains and humbling the proud and uniting Jew and Greek in His Body...

He. Is. The. One. We. Need.

There is no basis for the value of life, the Matter of matter, except that God made our lives with value. It only matters that Black people and babies are being murdered in the streets because God is the arbiter of worth, and He is not willing that any should perish, seeing the sparrow that falls, placing echoes of that Truth in our consciences, and writing Eternity on our hearts.

Without Jesus Christ, the Lord and the Messiah, the King on the Throne above thrones and establisher of all to His Glory and Eternal Reign, we cannot say that America is blessed, or that America should be blessed, or even that America is broken but ready to heal.

No. America must fall on the Rock of Ages and be broken, or, and this is the Truth my dear friends, the Rock of Ages will fall on America, and we will be destroyed, made as Sodom and Gomorrah.

This is of utmost importance. It's the Crux, the Cross, the Center of the thing.

Not “God bless America.”

God save America.

Please.

And in this time of darkness, reading and praying and reacting with a sad emoji and sharing with a wall-of-affirmation-text cannot be enough.

In fact, I don't want you to share this article. Really, I don't. Do NOT, I beg you, share this article. Unless you are willing to commit to real action, to, sometime in the next week, whether the opportunity comes naturally or you have to hunt to the end of the earth for it, to spread the Gospel. Spread the Gospel.

Spread the Gospel.

Spread the Gospel.

Do not share this article unless you will act, speak and do and fight and bring others to do, knowing that the revolution we need is of repentance, and of a new Pledge of Allegiance. What will you do? Don't sit back and watch the world burn, and don't think you can put out the fire with your spittle and policy. Pledge a new allegiance to the Flag of the Cross of the Kingdom of Christ.

I pledge allegiance to Christ, the Lord of all creation,

The King of Kings,

Who died on the Cross and Rose on the Third Day,

Who causes earthly kingdoms to rise and fall for His purpose,

Bringing up those He chooses for blessing and for judgment to the glory of His will,

He is King; He is Sovereign;

He is the Great Physician, the only one who will heal this world,

And His kingdom is not of this world.

He is Indivisible, the I AM and Three-In-One;

He is Liberty.

He is Justice.

He is All.

Or better yet, the pledge of allegiance He gave us Himself:

...Holy is Your Name;

Your Kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in Heaven.

Keep praying, friends, really and truly praying and repenting and fighting with the weapons His Spirit has given us in His Word, His Blood, and the Power of our Testimony bestowed through His grace.

Even if America is doomed, and I really don't know. He may yet preserve us for the sake of His Mercy and His chosen, maybe. I don't know.... My heart is sick and sad and heavy as I write this...

But the Lord is my heart.

And even if this country doesn't make it, His people will. And all will be made right and all will be healed.

So pray, hold firm, fight, and the Great Day with its Great Amen, they WILL come, faithful and true.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
