If you're ever on "Amazon Video" and need some shows to watch, here are some pretty good ones to choose from. Don't worry, I won't reveal too much about them.
1. "Victoria Mars"
This is like a modern version of "Nancy Drew" in a way. The main character helps her dad solve cases, which aren't too exaggerated and are pretty real to life. The main character, Victoria, is likable because of her strength toward a lot of her own peers. They shun her because of her Dad's decision on a suspect in a case, which a lot of people in the town didn't agree with. This is one of the most independent female lead characters I have seen in a while. She does have one friend named Wallace that accompanies her in some episodes and sometimes she has a motorcycle gang backing her up too.
2. "The Man In High Castle"
I was honestly a little doubtful about watching this show because it's about what the world would be like if Germany didn't lose WWII. I don't even like the thought of the America not winning and I never liked, nor was I very interested, in learning about the horrors of WWII in all my history classes. This show has such an interesting perspective and it doesn't focus on the horrors as much as the people trying to stop the horrors they face. Also the historical feel is like a story you imagine from reading in a history book. The main actress is just hands down original in some way I can't even yet describe, and her name is Juliana.
3. "Schitt's Creek"
This show is about really wealthy people who lost all their money. They fell from their rich mansion into a small crappy hotel in a little town called "Schitt's Creek". The rich people's mannerisms toward their whole situation is hilarious and the town rubs their situation into their face in a most laughable way; especially the obnoxious and annoying mayor.
4. "Drillbit Taylor"
And the last show on this list is "Drillbit Taylor" starring Owen Wilson. I have yet to find an Owen Wilson film that I don't like. Even though it is a movie, I needed to include it because of how pure of a comedy it is. The plot is of a few kids who were being bullied. They hired a body guard (played by Owen) who is also secretly homeless and a total sweetheart. This movie made me laugh and is highly recommended.
