If you’re in the mood to step out of your comfort zone, the Witches Brew is the absolute perfect place to go. Not only is there amazing dessert, coffee, tea, and other varieties of food, this cute little café is designed as if you were to step foot in a Witches house all year around!

2. Carlo’s Bakery

946 Old Country Road, Garden City

If you are familiar with “Buddy” from the Cake Boss, this is his shop! Originally only in New Jersey, the amazing bakery filled with the BEST pastries just opened up a new location in Westbury!

3. Diner By The Sea

260 E Park Ave, Long Beach

This diner is known for their glorious milkshakes. If you are a lover of milkshakes like me, you have to make a stop there. Not only are these milkshakes delicious, but they are always decorated with cute toppings, such a crowns and are super colorful and fun!

4. International Delight Café


241 Sunrise Hwy #11, Rockville Centre

This Café is a perfect place to go if you are craving a delicious, warm, homemade waffle. Not only does this place make amazing breakfast waffles, you are able to customize it to your liking with various flavors of gelato, and many different toppings.

5. Sweet ‘n’ Savory

104 Main St, Port Jefferson Station

You need to be sure you make a stop at this restaurant! Not only is there a variety of food, this place has the most amazing crepes you will ever eat! There is an amazing variety of crepes and different kinds of desserts of food.

Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
