This weekend was my best friends birthday and we celebrated like we were in a Harry Potter book. We danced and rocked out like we were at the The Yule Ball. We shopped around acting like we were at Diagon Alley, picking out wands and brooms. Then we ate a spread of food, that was worthy of Albus Dumbledore's blessing.
On Tuesday, the first thing Taylor and I did was go to a heavy metal concert at the Masquerade in Atlanta, to see Attila at the Chaos Tour. Here are some pictures from the concert. We stood at the front of the barricade and if you have ever been to a rock concert, that is the best place to stand.
This guy right here is lead singer for Sylar!
Here is Taylor and I waiting for the headliners to come on stage!
This is Chris Fronzak, the lead singer of Attila.
According to Taylor he is sooooo cute!!
On Friday we went to the movies to see "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". The movie was amazing in 3D... I recommend you seeing it in 3D. Later that night Taylor, Caitlyn and I went back to Taylor's house where we spent the night. While Taylor was sleeping, Caitlyn and I decorated her room and finished out her present I have been working on for months. I made Taylor floating candles just like the ones in the movies. Her gift contained a box full of Harry Potter themed presents and goodies. There were potions, spell books and an acceptance letter from Hogwarts.
That Saturday was her actual birthday and the plan was to go skydiving, but the winds yesterday were too high to jump. So, we went to the mall instead. At the mall, we went shopping and Taylor got a special friend, named Eevee!
That night, we went to dinner at Provino's by the Mall of Georgia with her family. Taylor was surprised by her monster cake and when I mean monster, I mean it was the monster book form the first Harry Potter movie. Her sister-in-law made the cake but sadly she had to work so she couldn't attend the dinner. Here is the cake..
That was the last thing we did that night. Now, Taylor and I are sitting at the kitchen table wondering what we will do next.
