Imagine what it would be like it I could have been there
Holding your hand and wiping your tears
See you go through all your pain
All for me and my sinful stains.
What it would be like seeing as you were whipped for me
To help save me from all my iniquity
Helping wipe up your blood
To show that you are cared and loved.
What if I were able to was your feet
To show you that your servant was near
To show you how grateful I am for you
And all the suffering you endured for me.
You left your comfort place to be killed for my sins
When you knew you were without fault
Not once did you complain about it
Not once at all.
So this time is all about you and what you did to save me
Thank you Jesus for the cross and for dying
In place of me.
A little Easter poem in rememberance of Jesus and what he did to save not only me but everyone. He sacrificed his life for us so that we may be able to dwell with him, and He also opened up a direct connection with God for us.
