It's Monday morning, and I'm feeling sluggish. I put on a pot of coffee and hop in the shower. Taking my time drying my hair and half way putting on makeup, I see the time. Now Im rushing out the door paying no attention to what I am knocking over on my way out. I see my husband, but have no time for goodbyes. So instead of hugging him, I say "have a good day babe, Ill see you for dinner." Little do I know, this is the last time I will see him.
Everyday, someone goes through this. It happens in an instance. A car wreck or an accident at work could result in the last goodbye you'll ever say. A quote from The Fresh Quotes says, "A good-bye is never painful unless you're never going to say hello again." Hopefully none of you will experience this, but I have encountered three families that never got to say a real goodbye. Life throws us all hurdles, and we never know what to expect. Our morning could begin the most joyful day we have ever had or the most painful. Which ever it is, be sure to leave your home with a proper good-bye. Never turn down a kiss. Go out of your way to give a hug. Be a minute late because you gave your baby one last kiss and your wife one last hug.
It doesn't take much to make the ones you are closest to feel loved, but the minute you don't, you'll regret it. It's hard to walk through life never knowing, but God always has a plan. No matter what life throws at you, remember to always share your love, and give proper goodbyes.
