Alpha Phifa: David Beckham Would Be Proud

This semester Alpha Phi at East Carolina University is hosting its very first Alpha Phifa co-recreational soccer tournament! Alpha Phifa is a one day soccer tournament that benefits the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports women's heart health.

Teams will be 5-7 players and it is $5 per player to play. There will be a male bracket and a female bracket and any co-ed teams will play in the male bracket.

Each game will be 5 minutes.

Teams will advance until a winner is named. There will be prizes for both winners of their respective brackets.

Food and beverages will be provided and spectator tickets will be $3.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, November 8th at 12:00 pm- 4:00 pm at Blount Fields in Greenville, North Carolina. If the tournament is rained out the alternative date will be November 11th.

To register email Alpha Phi ECU at ecualphaphi@gmail.com. There also will be sign ups outside Dowdy and the Student Recreation Center.

So get your teams together quick and come support the Alpha Phi Foundation for Women's heart health!

1. Waking up for your first 9:00 a.m. class of the semester.

2. When you remember you have to walk in the freezing cold to your classes.

3. Feeling overly confident in your academic abilities on the first day of classes.

4. Walking into your first class and seeing friends from your major.
