Single on Valentines Day? Sure it really does suck being alone on any other holiday but this day was made for love and couples. Don’t let it get to you. There are several reasons why it’s amazing to be unattached on this lovely day.

You have an excuse to go hang out with your single friends

Go watch the new fifty shades darker in theaters with your other single friends, wait a few days after February 14th for those amazing deals on candy, or even spend the day watching cheesy Rom-Coms on Netflix.

You’re going to save money

This romantic holiday can get very expensive with the flowers, gifts, dinner date, and the occasional sexy lingerie, instead spend that money on yourself and pamper yourself guilt free.

You’re not the only one alone on this Valentine’s Day

Just because you’re not with anyone special doesn’t mean you should settle for less just so you’re not alone. There are so many single people on this day, so go out and meet up with someone, don’t sit at home and be miserable all alone.

Dinner dates aren’t all that and a bag of chips

There’s a lot you have to do for dinner dates, you have to make a reservation, get ready, buy a nice outfit, buy dinner, while instead you could be binge watching your favorite show on Netflix in sweatpants and inhaling all the chocolate in sight.

All of the sales at the end of the season, HALF OFF CHOCOLATE

All you had to read was half off chocolate and now this day will go a little better than you thought.

You can roll your eyes at couples

You'll always see those cute couples at dinner, or walking down the street but just remember that they're probably going to be $100 in debt and you're A LOT happier than they are.

Being single isn’t the worst thing in the world, it may seem pretty bad right now but just remember that everything happens for a reason and to always stay positive. Happy Valentine’s Day!

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
