You’ve eaten enough turkey to feed an entire college dorm and now your fridge is overflowing with leftovers. Thanksgiving has come and gone, which means it’s back to the old grind of school with one notable exception: finals. There’s only two or three weeks left between you and good ol’ Christmas break. Here are the days leading up to finals as told by Gilmore Girls.
1. Thanksgiving break bliss
Thanksgiving break gave you a chance to rest and enjoy the company of friends and family. You’re left feeling more content than you have been in a while.
2. Sweet reunions
You may only have been gone for a week, but it feels so good to see everyone again.
3. "No more class" excitement
Very few class days remain. You can feel the joy inside you taking off.
4. Panic
That airplane of joy quickly lands at the nearest airport when you begin to remember all the finals projects and tests your teachers have given you. You put on a show of being okay when deep inside, all you want to do is scream.
5. Sleep deprivation
Nothing says end of the semester like lack of sleep. Everything is due. It’s now or never.
6. Coffee
Shakespeare essay? Coffee. Lab research paper? Coffee. Presentation? Coffee. They might as well give you an IV with the amount you drink.
7. Determination
You’re so close. You can’t let it get the best of you now. Push through!
8. Testing anxiety
No matter how many hours you spent preparing, you will most likely still feel nervous about your tests, which is understandable since you want to do well.
9. Sigh of relief
Nothing feels better than the relief that comes with turning in your last test or project. All that weight is lifted off your shoulders.
10. Celebration
Kick back, relax, and enjoy Christmas vacation!
