Oh snap! Summer has finally arrived! The sun is out, the flowers are blooming and so are your allergies. Allergy season has plagued the noses and throats of many people every single day. Here's to hoping Raven Baxter has a vision or two to help us combat this crippling season.

1. It is finally nice outside! The flowers are blooming, the trees are growing.

Bless.

2. Too bad all those blooming flowers and trees are actually trying to kill you.

LOL, not bless.

3. Now you just sneeze, itch and cough out your internal organs all day.

I never asked for this.

4. Do not even get me started on the sagebrush here in Nevada.

Sagebrush, a.k.a. the silent killer.

5. You are told, "It's not that bad outside" by the non-allergy people

LOL.

6. Oh yeah, it's not that bad out.

Just breaking out in hives, sneezing and just dying. No biggie, though.

7. You have to have your squad, a.k.a. medicine with you at all times.

So thankful for you.

8. You mourn the loss of nasal breathing and wonder why you didn’t cherish it before.

I wouldn't know; I lost the right to smell.

9. You can never not be a disruption in public areas with your coughing and sneezing

I desperately want to be one of you.

10. Everyone assumes you’re constantly sick, and you’ve snapped, “It’s allergies!” to multiple people.

I'm not me when I have allergies.

11. Wearing make-up is just useless at this point.

12. Actually, whenever you attempt to go outside, you immediately regret the decision.

Being excluded from society is better anyway.

13. And then your parents question why you thought it would be a good idea to go play near pollen.

You have this discussion every allergy season.

14. Finally, you get a handle on your symptoms, and then it morphs into a cold or sinus infection.

Ya, nasty.

15. And just when you think your allergies are over...

I would cry with my box of tissues, but I ran out from my allergies previous visit.

I thought senioritis in high school was rough until I became a college senior about to go into the real world. I'm supposed to have everything figured out, right? College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
