All Time Favorite Songs By Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift took the world by storm with her country music and then pop music. She has changed the lives of many and her music has inspired us all. But today I wanted to list my two favorite songs on each of her albums and reminisce about the reasons why we love her and her songs so much.

"Taylor Swift"- "Teardrops On My Guitar" and "Picture to Burn"

Let's just take a moment... The "Taylor Swift" album was released almost 10 years ago."Teardrops On My Guitar" was the beginning to it all. It was the first heartbreak we heard Swift sing about and it will always be our first heartbreak too.Well, if we have the first heartbreak song on here, then we need the first revenge song:"Picture to Burn!" We all love a good revenge song that involves fire and redneck heart-breakers.

"Sounds of the Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection"- "
Santa Baby" and "Last Christmas"

Because what is better than classic Christmas songs being performed by our favorite artist? Nothing I tell you!

" Fearless"- "You Belong With Me" and "Fearless"

So yeah, maybe Lucas Till was in this music video, and yeah maybe that's half the reason this song made it onto this article. But all jokes aside, "You Belong With Me" was every girl's jam at sleepovers. We most likely were dancing like Swift in the music video, and that is OK, because he does belong with you, even if you dance weird.

And I don't know how it gets better than "Fearless". It will always be one of my favorite songs by Swift because she speaks our minds in this song: we all want to dance in our best dress and have a fearless first kiss. Be Fearless kids.

"Fearless Platinum Edition"- "The Other Side of the Door" and "Jump Then Fall"

The platinum edition was one of the last albums where Swift had a touch of country sound in her songs -- RIP Country Swift. But let's look at the songs we will cherish forever.

"The Other Side of the Door" is just a cute, youthful song. This is the song you send to your boyfriend when he asks, "What do you want me to do?"

"Jump Then Fall" was the song we all had on repeat in middle school and was needed on this list to remind you of the good days.

"Speak Now"- "Sparks Fly" and "Back To December"

"Sparks Fly" was a total hit with Swift fans. This song reminds us that we all wish someone would drop everything for us and kiss us on sidewalks.

"Back to December"...you mean back to crying for hours while listening to this song! It breaks all fans' hearts because this is the first song that Swift admits she was the heart-breaker and would change everything if she could. Wouldn't we all?

"Red"- "All Too Well" and "22"

"Red" was an adventurous album with songs that will tear you apart and put you back together. "All Too Well", the song that tore all teenage girls apart, had to make this list and maybe make the list of one of the best Taylor Swift songs of all time.

I don't know about you, but I loved "22." It was a song that wasn't about boys who broke our hearts or made our hearts flutter. It was about having fun and being surrounded by friends for the night. Who doesn't want that?

"1989"- "Wildest Dreams" and "You Are In Love"

"Wildest Dreams" had to make the list with over 157 million views on YouTube. The music video was amazing and the lyrics were to die for.

"You Are In Love" was a bonus track on the album, and a bonus it was! This song will give you a glimpse of a love that isn't a burden or that comes with a heartbreak.

"Singles"- "I'd Lie" and "Ronan"

I'd be lying to you all if I didn't say "I'd Lie" was my favorite single by Taylor Swift. It's young and playful. Who couldn't love it?

"Ronan" was dedicated to Ronan Thompson, who passed away from cancer before his 4th birthday. All proceeds from this song were donated to cancer charities, so how could this not be on the list?

“People haven't always been there for me, but music always has.”- Taylor Swift

Thank you Taylor, for giving us the music that can be there for us.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
