All In One Day
brainstormyourbiz.com

One day has so much to it, especially in college. My busiest day has classes starting 8am and the last one ending at 6pm. That busiest day includes chemistry, psychology, IDC spy novels and math. I can't believe what I got into. It is all so much at once, which I didn't expect for my freshman year.

Chemistry is basically two subjects combined, math and science. Then, psychology just kind of psyches you out with crazy information, such as how personality is basically determined by your environment and family. Then, there is spy novel IDC where you read stories that are very hard to understand unless your like Sherlock Holmes. I mean these novels are complex. Then there is math, which I feel is almost too late in the day, it's from 4:30- 5:45. We do cover a lot in math about 70% I understand. The teacher did say something funny one day she said "all of your names are so hard to remember, if you all were numbers though then I would have no trouble." I found this pretty funny.

Then after all these classes I have work in usually all of them, so after I take them I have to go over all of them again. More chemistry, more psych, more IDC, more math. It's crazy. I like learning, but whew. Aren't we all just holding out for a break?

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

It is no secret that many American traditions have changed over time. As we grow older we change in so many ways that it only makes sense that we also change the way we celebrate special occasions. Of course when it comes to the holidays there are some family traditions that many of us still excitedly look forward to, whether it is eating your favorite dish or seeing favorite cousin. However, we all know that the holidays have overall changed a little from what they used to be.
