Is the moment we have all been waiting for finally here?

It is official -- McDonald's is going to begin serving breakfast all day. Earlier this week, company officials announced that on Oct. 6, stores across the nation will begin offering breakfast all day.

McDonald's used Twitter to launch the big news. The company found tweets from as far back as 2006 requesting breakfast to be served all day, and they replied to many letting them know their suggestions had been seriously taken into consideration and are now being implemented.

On McDonald's website they explain their strategy of announcement and include several GIFs to allow the public to share the news. Keep spreading the word -- the moment we have been waiting for is almost here!

"You're the first to know... Now be the first to share. We typically break news like this with the media, but you've wanted this for too long. So we're making this your story, your exclusive and your time to celebrate. So, use our GIFs below to tell the world that starting October 6, 2015 McDonald's breakfast will no longer end at 10:30 a.m."

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school.
