Listen here college people because this is a very serious life matter. It is official, Donald Trump is the official nominee of the Republican party for the November 2016 Presidential Election. News broke out earlier last week that Trump now has the completed number of delegate votes to be the nominee of the Republican party to be in the running potentially being our next President of the United States.
This is huge and will massively make an impact because as college students this is going to majorly affect all of our lives. Kudos to those of you college students out there that may be a Republican but seriously lets put all of our political affiliations aside for just a moment.
Whether you may be a Republican, a Libertarian, a Democrat, an Independent, or simply just can't pick a side it does not matter. In this impenitent time of our adult lives as college students we need to put our political beliefs aside and make a commitment to vote this November 2016. If you haven't registered to vote yet please do so immediately!
Registering to vote is part of adulthood and as college students you should want to take charge within all of your lives! Being able to vote is the kind of freedom we should all want to experience because literally this election is in all of our hands! Literally if you don't register to vote this year and your upset when the next president is someone you don't want it to be, you honestly can't say anything about it because you technically did not do your part in helping to change America.
It literally takes one vote to stop a potential dictator from ruining America, that's literally all it takes. So, instead of just sitting around and saying I hate this candidate get up and register to vote this way you can possibly see that candidate in the White House! Even if you can't come back home to vote in person, when you register to vote you can sign up to receive a mail in ballot!
Mail in ballots are the best way to vote anyway because even if you can't afford to come back home or attend an out-of-state college you can literally have the mail in ballot sent to your college's address. It's really easy and takes less than 5-minutes to register to vote in the United States.
Also, while still putting our political differences aside we as college students need to forget about our political beliefs in this coming election. Stop focusing on the issues and focus on the hard core facts that each candidate is presenting TRUTHFULLY, VALIDLY, AND ACCURATELY. Also, remember that this election literally depends on your life for the next four years.
This is not a joke, this election will seriously determine whether or not you start your career when college is over. This election will judge whether you live at home or on your own for the next four years. This election will state whether you have to live off of minimum wage or suffer in poverty because you can't find a job. This election means everything and as college students we have to take this to the heart because we play an enormous outcome into how this election will turn out.
This election is going to be the making or breaking point of all of our lives. Vote on what's right and who's right and don't vote on someone just because it's your political standpoint. As college students this election really represents us because it is going to target our lives as adults specifically. College students are a big part of society and leading into the next generation we have to protect and fight for ourselves.
No one is going to defend us unless we all defend for ourselves. We are our own advocates and have to acquire the skills to be ready to decide who will be our next President of the United States. So get up, show up, stop being lazy, and just register to vote! Your life depends on it and it will be your own fault this November if you don't go out and register to vote. Don't complain about who's our next President if your not a registered voter!
In all, make the effort to register and vote! It's that plain and simple because if we want America to keep being a democracy and not a bureaucracy then we as college students have to take voting this November 2016 into our own hands. Whether your on the East Coast, West Coast, down South, or out in the Mid-West go make a difference in the world and sign up to be a registered voter in the United States!
