Our Alien Overlords Have Landed

Good news to the citizens of Earth! Our Overlords have finally seized power from our politicians. The battle has been long and vigorous, but the new era of humanity has been unleashed. We shall prosper under our new leaders. They have came for peace of humanity. Their presence shall make earth prosper, and those who are against our overlords will be dismantled.

The fifteen day battle ended when United Nations released their surrender to the heavens. Our Overlords asked the UN to be the representative of Earth after the whole battle. Human weapons were no match. They are going disband the UN within the next few months. As our overlords attempt to develop our new system of life and how our governments shall work, they will control the aspects of our lives. The average human will not be affected in anyway. Those who do not cooperate, shall be arrested and to be handed over to our leaders. Cooperation is key.

The Plycha shall be our ever loving Overlords for generations to come. Human soldiers shall be remembered, for they did not know what they were fighting for. The Plycha formally announced a remembrance ceremony to take place on next Friday. Do not be afraid to go to the designated areas, and to formally remember the deceased. They respect our burial customs, and are willing cooperate with the burials. Our loving Overlords want a peaceful recognition and will televise it internationally. We are lucky for this.

Reeducation camps are being built for those who do not understand the Plycha's love. Resistance is futile. If you do not cooperate, you shall have a stay for an indefinite stay at a local camp. The data is currently classified and unknown to us. The Plycha have stated to not to worry, and that everything will go smoothly. More information will be released in the upcoming weeks. The Plycha are loving leaders who want our galactic presence to be controlled.

Each citizen of earth is to be given supplies needed. This will include food rations, medical needs, and the similar. Medical issues will be a thing of the past. They are going to eliminate all genes that create disabilities. The Plycha are going to help those affected from those diseases. Special medical facilities will be created in major cities, and some will be sent to the main center on a ship. Humanity will benefit, and we will grow.

Black markets are illegal. Those who participate in the black market are denying their love. Those will take a vacation to the reeducation camps, so that they can be a functional being in society. Cooperation will keep you and your families safe.

We never need to worry about elections again. They have came at our time of need, and destroyed all of those in power. Those who didn't cooperate perished. Only those who will cooperate will help create a new Earth shall survive. Our Overlords only kept those who were worthy in leadership. The current list is unknown to man and will be released in the following weeks. They are electing our new galactic representatives.

Remember that cooperation is key. Cooperation is love from the Plycha. Humanity shall be ever under the influence of Plycha rule. Cooperation will bring peace and love. Bless our magnificent Overlords.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows.
