Oh people of Aleppo, how our hearts burn for you. How we wish we could be there, run towards you and save you from your predicament. We feel guilty to be sitting here, in the comfort of our homes, being able to study for finals and go to school while you say, "Why does no one in the world care about us?"

Oh Muslim brothers and sisters overseas, how wronged you were, to be under the leadership of someone so corrupt that he is, to the Muslim world, a modern day Pharaoh. We have no excuses for you. The Muslim countries have failed to intervene and we have failed to protect you as an Ummah.

Oh beautiful souls, if you can still see this, know that as Muslims we believe in a hereafter. So hold strong, because no matter what, there will be justice. May Allah join us in a place where there will be no oppression. In a place where there will, certainly, be no oppression.
