If you are hanging out with friends, working out, driving in the car ,or doing some other task where you could use a little boost to give you that summertime feeling, these albums and artists will do exactly that!

1. "Between the Pines" (Acoustic Mixtape), Sam Hunt.

Even if you are not a fan of country, Sam Hunt is not your typical country singer. If you listen to this album you will find yourself singing and dancing along to songs such as “We Are Tonight,” “Vacation,” or “Saturday.” Not only will songs on this album get you in the mood for the summer vacation you have been waiting for since Christmas Break ended, or ready for a Saturday night out with your best friends, but it also has softer songs for nights alone, or more romantic ones to listen to with a special someone.

2. "Know-It-All," Alessia Cara.

Even if you do not recognize the name Alessia Cara yet, more than likely by now there is a good chance you have heard her hit song, “Here,” and if not that is the first song you need to listen to on this album. If you are a college student, or a young adult, you will be able to listen to Cara’s album and find something relatable. With songs like “Wild Things” and “Outlaws” you will be ready to sing along in your car with the windows down on hot summer days.

3. "Views," Drake.

Whether you love, or hate, Drake he always manages to release some kind of song that makes you just want to let loose, dance, or attempt rapping. "Views" does not disappoint, with songs like “One Dance” and “Too Good” featuring Rihanna, whether you are spending a night at home studying for those summer classes, working out in the gym, or out at a club with your friends, these songs will give you an escape from the rest of the world even if it is just for a short time.

4. "Last Year Was Complicated," Nick Jonas & SWAAY, DNCE.

Even though “Last Year Was Complicated” is not set to be released until June 10, based off the songs that are already available this will be an album you will not want to miss out on. There is little doubt when you listen to the songs “Close,” “Chainsaw" and “Champagne Problems,” that Nick Jonas’ new album will definitely set the mood for some fun summer nights, or chill days spent on the beach. His brother Joe Jonas’ band DNCE also has an EP album called “SWAAY” that contains four songs that you might also enjoy, including “Cake by the Ocean,” which is sure to stay a hit throughout the summer.

5. "Meat and Candy," Old Dominion.

If you are looking for a new country album that contains fun, light-hearted vibes, than the album “Meat and Candy” is exactly what you need. Old Dominion’s hit songs, “Snapback” and “Break Up with Him,” are easy to get caught up in, and are perfect for some karaoke with your friends. If you are in the mood and you happen to live in a small town with some back roads, songs like “Song for Another Time” and “Nowhere Fast” will be ideal for summer nights where the stars are out and all you want to do is blast great country music.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
