For two weeks in June, my family and several of our friends went on an adventure to Alaska. We spent three days in Vancouver, three days cruising to Juneau and embarked on a seven-day land tour, travelling from remote towns like Skagway to Klondike Gold Rush boom towns such as Dawson to even modern-era cities like Anchorage. We used almost every form of transportation possible — helicopter, airplane, train, bus and car. To say it was the trip of a lifetime would be an understatement; I made many memories there, and I would like to share a few of Mother Nature's best gems with you. Here is a mini photo album of my journey to the land of the midnight sun.
