Toast To This: Study Claims Drinking Champagne Can Improve Your Health

If this isn't a dream come true, I don't know what is. This time around, don't be ashamed to bring out the bubbly, because a 2013 study has re-surfaced, and it involves one of the world's greatest drinks: champagne.

Professor Jeremy Spencer at the University of Reading conducted a study, claiming that by drinking three glasses of champagne a day, you lower the risk of developing dementia.

So naturally, we wonder what the catch is. The study was conducted on a rat model, consisting of 24 animals, which is why the NHS encourages consumers to be cautious upon this finding.

The researchers who conducted the experiment hope to aim their study more towards humans, in hopes of the same result, thus proving champagne is good for your memory.

In the 2013 release, Dr. David Vauzour, stated, “This has been achieved successfully with other polyphenol-rich foods, such as blueberry and cocoa, and we predict similar outcomes for moderate Champagne intake on cognition in humans."

Still not convinced? Here are five reasons why you should drink champagne:

1. It can improve your memory.

2. It is good for your heart (and so is red wine).

3. It is the best drink to pregame with, plus it gets you drunk A LOT faster (thanks bubbles).

4. According to dermatologists, it can improve oily skin.

5. Champagne has less calories than sugary drinks like cranberry vodkas, whiskey and coke, or red bull vodkas.

Oh, and did I mention it's absolutely delicious?

Plus, how classy and rich do you look drinking it?

The answer is very classy and rich like Chuck Bass...

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
