Myself, along with everyone else in Alabama, have a major bone to pick with our weather patterns. We can never keep up with the seasons; when its spring its summer, when its fall its summer AGAIN, and when its winter its fall.
Here we are again, its October and yet, Alabama has not seen an once of fall weather. If you have lived here all of your life, like me, you know you're looking forward to this weather two days into summer weather. However, when some places are getting inches upon inches of snow, we're still living in the devil's armpit.
School has started back, football has been on since August, and according to our calenders its fall. WRONG. Ten more weeks of summer for you, Alabama. Don't even think of grabbing your favorite hoodie before heading out and forget wearing that super cute sweater you just bought.
It may be snowing in Montana, but here in Alabama, you'll catch us by the pool in November. Grab your sunscreen and head out for another +100 degree day.
Maybe one day Alabama will play along nicely with everyone else and we can have a normal fall. We might act like we're okay with all of our cute fall decor and our ability to already have Christmas decorations ready for purchase, but we are not okay, we are burning up please send help. Sincerely, everyone in Alabama.
