College football is back in full swing, and with that comes watching some of the best teams in the nation. Specifically, the Alabama Crimson Tide. Here are eight things you know if you are an Alabama fan-- or even if you aren't one.

1. Big Al

You know him and you love him. This elephant can get you hype for a game just by looking at him.

2. Rammer Jammer

Definitely you and your friends dancing and singing along to this after Alabama brings home that win.

3. Dixieland Delight

Parked in a holler ‘neath the mountain moonlight... ROLL TIDE!!! Need I say more?

4. Winning is literally all you know.

You after Alabama wins ANOTHER game.

5. Iron Bowl Saturday is a literal holiday.

I mean... that's how it is done. Roll Tide.

6. Nick Saban

When is he going to get his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? This man is a legend.

7. SIXTEEN National Championships.

You know I don't have to say anything else about this.

8. Roll tide, roll.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.
