Hotels are a pain in the butt. They're expensive and it's hard to find one that has a great location plus everything you need at a great price. It's time to ditch the hotels and start using Airbnb.

For the price of a hotel you can rent a whole house. Why pay more for a room when you can get a whole house? Also you can rent a bedroom at a house usually between $30-$50 which is way cheaper than even most motels.

At a hotel you sometimes get a dinky hair dryer and a coffee maker. If you're really lucky you might get a microwave or minifridge. With Airbnb you can rent a place that has a whole kitchen you can use and a hair dryer that won't take you all morning to dry your hair with.

Hotels are pretty standard when it comes to what they have to offer. With Airbnb though you can personalize your experience and find a place that usually fits all your needs and desires. With all the different filters you can apply to your search it is so much easier to find the perfect place to stay at.

Staying at a hotel you're only giving money to someone who already has so much. By staying in an Airbnb you're helping a family be able to make extra money or help a college kid afford their basic needs. It's like shopping in a local store rather than a nationwide chain store.
5. Check In Is A Breeze

There is no waiting in lines, there's no waiting for a room to be ready, at most places you just show up and that is the extent to checking in. It allows you to relax and get down to business a lot sooner than most hotels.
6. There Usually Aren't Other Guests
With Airbnb you can choose to book at a place where it will just be you staying there. It's very relaxing to be able to come back to a place and have it feel like you're basically at home.
