Everyone from high school students to everyday professionals should own a yearly planner. You can jot down a note you need to remember, plan out your entire week and month, and so much more. Some planners are more extensive than others, but there are many options for a regular day by day outlet.

Below are a few of my personal favorites:

1. Anthropologie

The very chic and modern Anthropologie store has everything from super gorgeous clothing items, shoes, plates, decorative cups, hip books, and planners!

The planners are done by Rifle Paper Co. My 2017 planner was purchased from Anthropologie because it had the correct things to fit my needs. If you purchase a planner from this store, you get well built and decorative planners. My planner has monthly sheets, multiple lines for your day by day needs, important note sheets, and so much more. Though I do not have the design pictured on the left, you can purchase one that is super decorative on the interior or a little more laid back and mature- pictured on the right. The retail prices range from $18.00-$42.00.

You may purchase your new lifesaver at https://www.anthropologie.com/search?q=planners

2. Lilly Pulitzer

I do find it interesting that certain high-end clothing stores sell planners and agendas. It is a smart move because it does attract a crowd that is looking for more chic planners. Lilly Pulitzer has To Do and yearly planners that sell out quite quickly. As I searched for their yearly agenda, a big "SOLD OUT" sign took up the length of my screen. You can choose from a cute elephant dor their famous clothing design prints. This To Do Planner is a sold $25.00

You can find yours at https://www.lillypulitzer.com/product/to-do-planne...

3. Day Designer

If you are in need of a much more comprehensive and thorough planner, Day Designer is the way to go. This company makes more expensive planners which mainly retail at $59.00. I think it is truly a bang for your buck. I see myself purchasing this as I graduate college and enter my career. On the website, you will find a detailed list of everything included inside of the planner. If you purchase this two-pound planner, I think you are quite the busy bee. These planners are hand crafted which allows us to know that it is not an item we will get tired of. There are many cute pattern designs to choose from as well as having an option of two different sizes.

Day Designer also has an A5 Luxe Collection which includes Leather Binders which go for $159.00. These options are even more detailed!

You can purchase one at http://daydesigner.com

You can choose to purchase any planner above or one that you find on your own, but I highly recommend a YEARLY agenda or planner. It will be your lifesaver when your boss asks you for that one detail you thought you forgot. And yes, men should plan accordingly, there are less "girly" designs. So purchase a planner and thank yourself later.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
