These are some affordable products that really do the job just as well, if not better, then their expensive rivals. As a female college student, ballin' on a budget is a real struggle. I came to the devastating conclusion that my Ulta shopping sprees just would not fly anymore. My wallet couldn't keep up with my lifestyle.

So, I went out on a limb and *gasp* tried some drugstore products instead of my normal "expensive" ones. I was pleasantly surprised and who knows, maybe you will be too.

Physician's Formula Bronzer Vs. Hoola Bronzer

Physicians Formula bronzer literally smells like I'm on vacation drinking out of coconuts and living life to the fullest. Like what more could you want??? This product will change your life forever. Hoola just does not do it for me anymore (we had a bad breakup, but I found someone better so I'm fine now). So thank you physician's formula for introducing me to someone who treats me like a queen.

Loreal Paradise Lash Vs. Better Than Sex Mascara

The CVS version of Better Than Sex is without a doubt Loreal Paradise Lash. I find that the Loreal version actually doesn't flake off by the end of the day like Better Than Sex does, and it honestly stays on better too. It isn't as clumpy and sticky (which gets so annoying after like two weeks of using it). Trust me, you'll be thanking me.

ELF Lip Plumper Vs. Too Faced Lip Injection

I've never personally tried this but my friend Claire said that it's pretty legit, and you get the same results for way less of a cost. I've seen some pretty persuading pictures of girls trying this and really reaping the benefits. If you like the burn of "Lip Injection," then you'll probably love its cheaper cousin.

Shea Moisture Leave-In Conditioner Vs. Its A 10 Leave-In Conditioner

I can honestly say I've used both and love both. But sometimes spending over $20 on a small bottle of leave-in conditioner just isn't ideal. So when I'm really trying to ball on a budget, Shea moisture really comes in clutch. I'm not saying to replace this with your Its A 10 if you use it, but it's a great alternative if you're tired of spending a ton of money every month.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
