One Tree Hill's Coach Whitey Durham was a coach to us all

The Best Advice by Coach Whitey Durham

One Tree Hill is the type of show I wish I could be a part of. I wanted to be Brooke and Peyton’s best friend, Lucas’ girlfriend, and Nathan’s science partner. I wanted to be tutored by Haley, work at Karen’s café, and play for Coach Whitey Durham. One Tree Hill was full of dramatic story lines, relatable characters, and inspirational quotes, but one thing I could always count on from One Tree Hill was advice from Coach Whitey Durham.

Coach Whitey inspired all the characters on One Tree Hill and these quotes continue to inspire individuals. Whether you were a fan from the start or binge watched the show on Netflix, you know these quotes and chances are they’ve inspired you.

Coach Whitey helped us conquer our fears.

Coach whitey taught us about Marriage.

Coach Whitey taught us to never have regrets.

Coach Whitey taught us that nothing truly is black or white.

Coach Whitey taught us to not back down.

Coach Whitey Taught us about Life.

Coach Whitey taught us all how to deal with the hard times, cherish the good times, and enjoy life. He was a mentor to all of us, whether we knew it or not.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
