20 Ideas For Every Adrenaline Junkie's Bucket List
Haley Kennedy

Adventuring is something that covers my bucket list. So, I've compiled a list of 20 of the best things for adventurers to add to their lists.

1. Go cage divingĀ

This may be one of the more daring adventures on this bucket list, but there's something about looking a shark in the eye that gives even the bravest of daredevils a thrill.

2. Visit the Eiffel TowerĀ

However basic, everyone should see the Eiffel Tower for themselves at least once in their lives.

3. Visit your childhood homeĀ

No matter how far you roam after you leave the house that made you into who you are today, it's important to look back on how far you've come. Visiting your childhood home is the perfect stop.

4. Visit all 50 U.S. StatesĀ

Most U.S. citizens never get to see half of the United States, nevertheless travel to all 50 to see what each state has to offer. The United States' culture varies widely from the West to the East Coast, and it's worth the mileage to see it all.

5. Spend New Year's Eve in New York CityĀ

There's something about watching the ball drop in person that makes the ultimate New Year's Eve adventure.

6. Sky diving

This is by far the most basic adventure on this list, but it's pretty obvious that everyone who loves a good thrill should go skydiving. There's something about the thrill of free falling through the air that is actually really enjoyable for even the bravest of daredevils.

7. Go scuba divingĀ

Whether you've been to the beach once or studying the ocean is your career, everyone should dive in and see the ocean's vast marine life and beauty for themselves at least once.

8. Visit New Orleans during Mardi GrasĀ

Whether you love a good party or just a good adventure, New Orleans, Louisiana during Mardi Gras is a sight to see.

9. Take a ride in a submarineĀ

Everyone's curious about what lies beneath the ocean's surface, but not everyone wants to dive in and explore it for themselves. Riding in a submarine is the perfect medium for those who want an adventure but don't necessarily want to be right in the water among marine life.

10. Visit a black sand beachĀ

Most people are familiar with typical tropical shorelines and the white to gray sand that lies on the surface, but it's quite rare to find a beach rich with black sand. It's a staple for every traveler's bucket list.

11. Go to a music festival (or four)Ā

Everyone should experience at least one music festival while they're young, because those days of running around trying to watch your favorite artist are fleeting and worth experiencing at least once.

12. Visit every continentĀ

With a world as big and culturally rich as ours, you really have to visit all of it to see everything. A staple for every traveler's bucket list is to see all seven continents, and this is definitely one of the best ways to truly experience all that the world has to offer.

13. Go on an Alaskan CruiseĀ

There's nothing like seeing Alaska's beauty through the warmth of a luxury cruise ship to make the cold winter weather actually quite enjoyable.

14. See wild elephants in AfricaĀ

Elephants are a very important part of the world's culture, and it's easy to see that they're one of the world's most loved animals. It's every animal lover's dream to see them in their natural habitat, roaming on the African plains freely.

15. Camp out under the starsĀ

This is probably the most affordable and basic adventure on this list, but seeing the stars without the fog of city lights on a clear night is a must for every adventurer's bucket list.

16. Hold a koala in AustraliaĀ

When you think of Australia, usually your mind instantly thinks of Kangaroos and Koalas, so it's easy to see why everyone should hold one of these unique animals during their visit.

17. Visit the world's largest mallĀ

The world's largest mall in Dubai is definitely a sight to see, simply because of just how absolutely ginormous it is.

18. Eat authentic Italian pasta in ItalyĀ

If you're going to visit Italy, you have to try authentic Italian pasta. Olive Garden would have nothing on freshly made pasta made by an authentic Italian chef.

19. Climb a mountainĀ

For the especially adventurous type, climbing a mountain is most definitely the first bucket list task to complete.

20. Go mountain bikingĀ

And if climbing a mountain just isn't thrilling enough for you, you can always ride a bike up one!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you donā€™t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldnā€™t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing ā€” finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
