Sharing your room could get annoying, and truthfully no sane individual actually volunteers to give up their own space just to share with their sibling. You may love them and all, but the struggles of sharing a room with them are hard to bare especially when you both are in your early twenties.

It's safe to admit that as you grow, so do these nine struggles.

1. Getting used to your own room, only to have it taken away.

getting your own room is like winning the lottery because you don't have to deal with the little annoyances brought on by your sibling.however, don't get too cozy because as soon as school ends you no longer have this luxury and are forced back into a split room.

2.Twice the mess when you both come back from break.

unfortunately, their mess becomes your mess, and when it's double the mess it takes forever to sort it all out. Two messes aren't better than one

3. Bottles replace your toys.

As you become older you become legally able to drink ,and you begin to hoard bottles that end up taking up most of your desk.

4. You basically have two sets of wardrobe.

you get a one-way ticket to each other's closet and therefore your things become hers or vice verse and you realize that you both need to compromise on storage space

5. You develop different design tastes.

as time changes so does the decore and you both will never agree on wall color schemes so it's best if you settle compromise in advance

6. The struggle not to wake the other up when you stumble home from the bars.

Either your sleep schedules need to sync up or By This point , you should just expect to be woken up whenever you wish to sleep.

7. You need to watch Netflix with your headphones in.

If they want to sleep but you aren't tired and don't wish to migrate to the tv room or basement you are forced to watch Netflix with headphones in so you don't disturb sleeping beauty.

8. A clean room is never obtainable

it seems like as soon as one of you puts something on your floor a huge domino effect occurs and then suddenly your room looks like a bomb went off. and then when you get the motivation to clean both sides it somehow gets messy all over again so you just accept the fact that having a clean room is utterly impossible.

9. When going back to school it's highly likely your things would get mixed up.

half a room isn't enough, and no matter how big the room there isn't any space to fit both of your stuff so you're forced to throw it all together, therefore, your favorite pair of leggings will go for a trip back to school with your sister.

The important thing to remember is, although sharing your room could be a huge pain, you develope a strong bond being two feet away.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
