A lot of people don't get that adopting a pet is so much better than buying and breeding them. I feel that there aren't enough people informing others on reasons why it matters. So here are 6 simple reasons why you should adopt instead of buy:
1. When you buy, for example dogs, from a pet store you are supporting the cruel puppy mills that you would never want your pet to go through.
2. Adopting, not only gives you a better conscience, but it also costs a lot less than buying a pet.
3. Most “preowned” pets already come house trained.
4. Most shelters and rescues include vaccinations and spaying/neutering with their adoption fee.
5. Most animals at the shelters, already have set personalities so you could find one that fits yours perfectly.
6. Your pet will always look at you as their hero.
