14 Signs You're Addicted To Online Shopping

Online shopping is a beautiful thing. It allows the fun of shopping to be had without even leaving your house. The world of shopping is literally at your fingertips. Living in my sorority house, the UPS and FedEx guys are daily guests with girls' online purchases. All girls are guilty of online shopping, but some of us take it a step further to the point of obsession.

1. You know your credit card number by heart, forward and backward.

2. You dread checking your bank account.

3. You see the UPS truck like a child sees an ice cream truck.

4. The delivery man knows you by name.

5. You are running out of room in your closet.

6. You add seasonal sales and promotions to your planner.

7. Pressing "Add To Cart" gives you an adrenaline rush similar to skydiving.

8. Finding a great deal justifies the purchase, no matter the actual price.

9. Five to seven business days feels like a lifetime.

10. A piece of clothing that arrives and doesn't fit is a tragedy.

11. But when it does fit, it's positively magical.

12. Packages arrive that you don't even remember ordering.

13. All of your browser bookmarks are online stores.

14. You online shop in class.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
