I have always been drawn to HGTV. I love the idea of redesigning an old broken house and restoring it to its natural beauty once again. It wasn't until I started watching "Fixer Upper" that I saw my design interests in every house they remodeled.
- Joanna and Chip Gaines make a beautiful couple. My heart melts when they look at each other, especially when Chip calls her Jo Jo. It is a great feeling watching two people who truly love each other work together to transform houses and peoples' lives.
- Their children are adorable. It's awesome knowing that they value family. I love that they teach their children work ethic at a young age. Every couple of episodes, they are taking care of flowers or the animals, and it's fun to watch them grow.
- Their farm is gorgeous. What's even better is that they bought it as a "Fixer Upper" and transformed it into what it is today, proving that hard work does pay off.
- Chip is hilarious. There's not an episode where I fail to laugh at him either buying random objects at the antique store, eating a bug on a house tour, or coming home with dogs and chickens.
- Joanna is my design hero. I could see myself living in any house she designs. I'll never get tired of watching her add subway tiles and shiplap into a renovation. It's crazy to think she has no background in design either.
- They are strong in their faith and they aren't afraid to say it. Joanna and Chip Gaines are two of the most humble and caring people on television today.
- Waco, Texas looks like a great southern town. I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't move to Waco. Jo and Chip Gaines definitely put Waco, Texas back on a map as far as great towns to visit.
- Magnolia Market looks like heaven. It is not only a place to buy Joanna-Gaines-inspired decor but a place that represents the Gaines family as a whole.
- The Bed and Breakfast looks like a welcoming home away from home. My family is already looking at dates in which we can book to stay there. I loved it on the episode they showed it to a family, but they ended up not going with it. I'm glad to see its transformation into something "Fixer Upper" fans can enjoy.
