Ad Astra Periclum Updates:

As the semester draws to a close we look to reorganize and get some work done over the break. I myself look to work on it as much as possible at a minimum of 8 hours a day excluding Sunday. So far i have fixed 3 bugs in the code revolving around colony management. Better skyboxes have been added to the game, and a lot of testing has been going on revolving around networking script. A current bug we have is that firewalls are blocking a lot of the server to client communications and causing a lot of issues, we are currently working on a viable solution. the implementation of the loading bar and loading circles is yet to happen however the animations for the loading screen are completed.

I plan to design a lot of buildings in Auto Cad in which to give to the artists to design in Blender in 3D. I myself am not a 3D modeler but i have had experience designing in Micro station and Auto Cad for civil engineering. Currently i am working on the colony back end scripts that would make it all come together so that players can properly mine resources and store them.

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
