  1. Most of the time, people don’t know who actuaries are.
  2. Most of the time, we don’t even know what exactly does actuaries do - the fields are really broad with many categories, life, property, casualty.
  3. We are always talking about credential exams and how difficult they are.
  4. The words dedication and commitment can innocently sum up our lives - because we go as far as giving up weeknights and weekends to study for the exams.
  5. We also don’t really know if we’re joining CAS or SOA.
  6. Sometimes, we start to question if we are actually good at math.
  7. Despite the situation, we continue to persevere - because we like to be unique and the world needs actuaries
  8. Also, it is constantly rated as the best job in the world.
