Actual Things Donald Trump Has Actually Said

Well as we can see the progress of the election, it turns out Donald Trumps campaign is not a joke. This is real people. This man could lead our country. While I still have hopes come April Fools this will turn out to be the most epic prank played on America, for now, this is very real. Ladies and gentlemen, here are some of my favorite, worst things Trump has ever said.

*Warning: please prepare yourself to make faces of disgust and yell out uncontrollable angry comments.*

"They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

-Trump made this comment at the beginning of his presidential campaign referring to undocumented Mexican immigrants. I only wish he were joking.

Trump spoke on Senator John McCain, former Vietnam prisoner of war,

"I like people who weren’t captured"

-at the 2015 Family Leadership Summit in Iowa.

"Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest – and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure, it's not your fault."

-...Don't worry Trump, we don't

“You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media writes as long as you’ve got a young, and beautiful, piece of a**.”

-he clearly has a way with words.

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime.”

-Once again, another comment Trump stood by.

“The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.”

-During an interview on Good morning America. What a humble man.

“I have a great relationship with the blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks.”

-Said in 2008

In 2012 Trump tweeted,

“The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make US manufacturing non-compeitive”

-His claim is basically stating China invented global warming to hurt the US economy. Eh not so much. With absolutely 0 research and studies to back this claim up, this is not even remotely plausible…on so many levels.

“I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

-Here Trump is commenting on his own daughter. DAUGHTER.

But one of the craziest things Donald Trump has yet to say,

“I officially declare my candidacy for President of the United States.”

Yep, there you have it.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
