The Importance Of Taking Action
Wikipedia

We all have hopes, dreams and desires. We all want to be successful in reaching and fulfilling the goals that we hope will bring us down a path of success. Sometimes though, we find ourselves lost– or in some cases, stuck. We aren't exactly sure of how to get there, or we take a different route than expected. That's the beauty of life. Sometimes the unknown can be fear inducing but often times, that's when we need to take a leap of faith in order to reach our destination.

You may think it's uncommon or that you're the only one who feels this way but I assure you, you aren't. When you feel stuck or have thoughts such as "Why am I doing this? Am I on the right path?" or "How can I achieve this goal?" your mind has already started to process your desires. Now it is up to you, the physical being, to do the work in order for your manifestations to come to fruition.

Taking action is simple, really. It's really laying the physical groundwork in order to reach your goals. When we manifest or think positively about something such as money, for instance, the money that you manifested didn't just come to you; you put in the work to get it. If we were to wait for manifestations to come to us, then we would get nowhere and no one would get anything done.

My goal is to not chastise you, but to encourage you instead. Take the action you need to in order to reach your dreams and desires. Apply for that job position you know you'd be great at, tell that person you've had your eye on that you like them, write a list of your goals and how you're going to get there– the possibilities are endless! Take action everyday, one day at a time, and I promise you, you will see your manifestations come to light.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed this article, reader, and that it has helped you.

Love always,

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
